Honored to have the cover photo of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) this week. It’s tied to a paper by Fashing et al that highlights the widespread and growing contributions of Ethiopian scientists and the breadth of ongoing research on biodiversity and conservation in Ethiopia.It’s nice to be able to contribute as both a photographer and a scientist on the same project! Many congratulations to Peter, Nga, Abel, Anagaw, Addisu, Niina, and Nils for their work on this collaboration.
