After months of careful deliberation and planning, I am thrilled to share the official release of The Delta Series– an exploration of the plight and splendor of the Colorado River Delta. While the river itself begins high up in the Rocky Mountains, its final journey takes place along the coastal plains of Baja, Mexico. Its last-remaining branches of freshwater fan out to form giant, sprawling trees in a bid for the ocean. From the window of a two-seater flying low over the earth's crust, I captured the last leg of its pilgrimage elegantly scrawled in the salt-infused silt. Heartbreaking in its weakened state and yet breathtaking in its resistance, it was as if the very lungs of our earth were exposed.
