Photo by Orca feeding on herring near a commercial fishing vessel in the Norwegian Arctic. When I first worked with orca in Norway in 1994, my colleagues and I saw only natural feeding behavior. These days, orca seem to be more frequently engaged in depredation (getting fish from fishing boats). Maybe they find ‘take-out food’ easier than spending energy making dinner#nikonnofilter #orca
